On my 93 wagon I want to replace the r12 system with the r134, What do I need(parts ) and what is involved in changing this over? The system is already empty, do to the shift cable rubbing a hole in the lowside line..

Any help or ideas are greatly appreciated...

R12 is no longer available so you will need to convert the car to R-134. I suggest that if you had a leak and it was repaired take it to an AC shop so that they can evacuate the entire system with a vacuum pump and then they will recharge it for you . Without the vacuum being placed on the system you will not get a proper charge.
