Is the front Diff on a 95 K1500 and a k2500 the same?

I don't think so, but to be sure go to a local salvage yard and they can tell you from their books.
Also make sure whatever you swap out on the front is the same gear ratio as the rear.

Is the k2500 a 6 or 8 lug? Yes they are different if it is a 8 lug.
1500 is an 8.25"
2500 is an 9.25"

i was thinking just the center out to the axles was the same i know the i know one is 8 and one is 6 lug but the 70 chevy half ton and 3/4 ton both used dana 44's you just changed the spindles over to change from 8 lug to 6 so was thinking the IFS was the same

I think the differential's top mounting holes will line up, but the bottom are different from reading another forum and you would have to fab something up. Not sure if you can bolt 1/2 ton axle's to 3/4 ton differential.
