hi, ive always wondered, would it be possible it swap any RB series motor into a Maxima(a '95 maxima)?how intense would the modifications be? If its not possible(though nothing is immpossible), are there any other swaps for the Maxima? I appreciate any help.

-thanks

Anything can fit with enough money, but the question is, is it worth it?

no

step 1) rob a bank
step 2) convert Maxima to rear or 4-wheel drive
step 3) get a new transfer case
step 4) buy all new engine components(I mean EVERYTHING)
step 5) get motor
step 6) find someone who is willing to do it for you, because it is virtually impossible
step 7) save all the money you just spent and buy a skyline, plus some leftover for mods( That is how much money it would take)

I'd personally forget the idea.

Its o.k. to ask this question ONCE and just ONCE. No, you can't. Too many differences in the Maxima and skyline. Way too much money.

Welcome to the board.:D

you also have to ask yourself, what if somethin goes wrong with the engine down the line. who's gonna be able to get parts for the rb26 in usa? i assume your nissan place could but would they warranty the work and all? it just sounds like a huge head-ache waiting to happen. but it would be awesome. if you can manage it, you da man

Unless you are doing it just to be different, there are much better/easier ways to spend your money.
