'91 4Runner I need help with a clutch problem.

I have a 91 4Runner 3.0, 4 wheel drive.
I installed a brand new clutch, & slave cylinder.
Now when I try to put it in gear, the clutch goes all the
way down & I still can't get it in gear.
I've towed it to several mechanics, & no one can find the problem.
Does anyone have any info that could be of help?? Thank you ...

Just found out that the pedal plate is broken.

Thanks for the update. I was just wondering if all these mechancs had lost their minds....:)
