block swich

i have 96 geo tracker 16 valve the block is crackrd and i was wondering if you could take a 8 valve block and swicth it with the 16 vavle block are they the same

Here on the West Coast I found an outfit that carries used Japaneese engines with low miles. I was guaranteed that the engine had less than 50,000 miles on it. It cost me $650.00.
