Your best bet is purchase a Haynes manual or go to library. You need a copy when checking plug wiring diagram.
Was the distributor installed correctly you need engine on top dead center and rotor at Number one plug.
Belt engine at top dead center, cam lined up on mark if dual both cams need lined up to mark. Some Japanese engines oil pump also needs lined up.
Best to rotate to top dead center before removing belt, rotor at number one. Check and mark all pulley marks use a Hi Liter. Use white out and mark distributor rotor and side of distributor before removing.
