100,000 mile maintenance question

My 04 Mercury Mountaineer just turned 100,000 miles and I'm wondering what general maintenance I should have done on it. I use it for work and it's mostly freeway miles. I do my own oil changes and not too long ago had the transmission fluid changed. I'm always getting hit up to change my brake fluid so my question is, what should I have done? Plugs are original so are all the fluid except transmission. It seems to be running just fine but I'd like to stay up on maintenance to prevent future problems. Do I really need to change out my radiator fluid? Any input appreciated.

Definitely change those plugs. I think 100k is the Ford recommended interval anyway. A brake, coolant, transfer case (if equipped), and axle flush are not 100% necessary, but if you're keeping the vehicle for a few more years, they will go a long way to prevent corrosion and wear in those components and systems.

I'd go and change all the fluids except the tranny since that was already recently done. Funny, I was looking to buy one a few years back and was surprised to see that they did not have a tranny dipstick at all! According to the dealers, the fluid is in there for life...yeah right! If it were me, I'd change the tranny fluid at 50k mile intervals to be safe, sooner if you do alot of towing.
Add to that the serpentine belt, plugs, radiator hoses, and maybe the thermostat.
Hope this helps!
