Wicked Vibration.

Okay today coming home from school, I started getting this violent vibration in the engine part of my car. violent enough at times to make my cd play skip. At first I thought it was a flat tire, but they are good and pumped. So when I got home I had some friends look at it, and they said it might be the timing belt. Now would a loose timing belt cause this type of vibration?

my car did this for a lil bit, it would shake and pull to the sides

it wouldn't be the timing belt unless its so loose it skipped a tooth on the belt, but you could really tell then, cuz it wouldn't idle well either.

Well i guess i should of added that when i press on the gas its like the engine just kinda skips and wont really speed up. So its really hard for me to gain speed.

Would the type of gas i put in do it? Becuase i put in Sonoco gas yesterday and today it acted up because their gas has ethenyl in it, so clogged fuel injectors? Dad said about dry gas or fuel injector cleaner. Anyone have this problem before?
