I have a 2001 Town and Country and the speedometer don't work all the time. Sometimes when I start the vehicle the speedometer hand would be on the other side of the stop arm (the stem the arm rest on). Sometimes it would be on the correct side of the arm (left side), so it would work but not all the time. Any idea?
Thanks

Try an instrument cluster calibration test. With the key on hold the odometer and trip reset knobs in. Within a few seconds the instruments should start cycling. Should take about 10-15 seconds. If you've noticed transmission shift problems as well you likely have an output speed sensor on its way out. This sensor is the signal source for the speedo and conditions shift timing.
