What is the easiest way to replace an oil pan gasket on a 93 tbird 3.8 ? I dont have an engine lift or a manual(haynes, chilton, etc) for this car.. Am I looking at paying someone for this job ? If so, about how much?
Thanks in advance for your time

I got under the car and looked at it myself. Jack williams said it was a gasket leaking after they changed the oil.. What they didnt say is that it was the crush gasket on the drain plug, that they didnt replace.. Cant trust any chain store anymore.. I will be doing my own oil changes from now on!!

You're so right on oil change incompetants! That's why I do it my self.
FYI: you can change the pan gasket with motor in car acording to the Haynes manual. I've never done it so I don't know if Hayne's are right. You would need a floor jack and jack stands to do the job. (I bought a Sears 4 ton floor jack 20 years ago and it was one of the best tool purchases I've ever made.)
