2000 buick lesabre

ac comes on when car starts then ac clutch turns off and does'nt come back on. i have power to the compressor. when clutch is unplugged there is power off of the pigtail, as soon as i plug it into the compressor the clutch engages then disengages and i have no power. what is up!!!

I would start with checking the high/low side pressure. Symptoms suggest, the system is low on refrigerant.
