'94 Geo Tracker radio display screen blank

The display screen on the stock radio does not light up or display any information. Is there a light bulb or is it an L.E.D. display? How do I access it if it is something I need to replace? Thank you in advance.

I would think it is a LED back light. can you get me a picture of the stereo?
