Have a 1996 park ave. It has 202k miles on it. Have replaced (rebuilt alternator), new radiator and replaced tie rod ends both sides and steering box, Has been extremely reliable car. Have never replaced fuel pump, or ignition wires , or spark plugs, yet it runs great. Get regular oil changes and occasionly run some fuel injector cleaner in the tank. Failed to mention got a new compressor for A.C.. Was wondering what I need to watch out for. Afraid the fuel pump will bite the dust at some point, and not sure if there is a trunk access to it or not like on the 2000 lesabre I have. Been reading about these intake manifold gaskets failing and coolant leaks. But I have none. What should I be looking out for to fail?

Do you have a 96 Park Ave or Park Ave Ultra?

The fuel pump is most likely tired, and you will have to drop the tank to gain access to it...

The Lower intake gaskets should be toast, unless they were replaced before you got the car...
