Stereo Din Help

Are there any, ANY tricks out there as to how I can put a double din stereo in the dash? Its wide enough but I need and inch top or bottom. I know I am not the first to do this so if there's anyone who has please let me know and provide pictures.

What type of car or truck do you have? Just a helpful reminder to add a little more details into your questions, it will help everyone out alot.

Just bought a new head unit yesterday. I was looking at a nice double din. He looked it up and stated that for double dins he'd do some cutting to make it fit, done professionally, and not noticeable.

I ended up getting a single din as I already had the din kit.

So you'll have to do some cutting, and mounting. I can't help more then that sorry.
