Aluminum wheel paint

Can someone give me the proper paint color for the 99-02 Silverado aluminum wheel?My rims are in dire need of a refinishing due to oxidization and clearcoat bubbling from the balancing weights over the years and I figured I'd strip them,sand and paint them to get finish back to near factory look.

thats alot of work . you must completely remove all paint. then treat the aluminum with a cleaner, primer product.. go to the airplane forums for painting aluminum..


after you complete this , do not use those hammer on side weights ..the steel eats the aluminum ....electrons flow when these two get together ..I have been using stick on weights for a very long time with no losses or metal damage...
