rebuilding my 305

should i take the time to rebuild it or is it a waste of time. im not looking to do mach 1 in the car i just a good running car with a little kick. 1991 rs 305 tbi 5 speed.
second choice is to buy the 350 tpi used and rebuild and install.
(on a budget keep that in mind)

Well, historically, I'm all about giving the poor little 305 some credit, it can make decent power with a little tweaking. However, as time keep going on, the cost factor invovled gets less and less feasable and the more availability and cost factor of dumping in a 350 is more practical.

If the car is over all good shape, why not search out a LT1?
