overheating issue

93 SSEI running very hot, almost to the red and staying just above. Replaced thermostat and still running hot. I am hearing a chirping sound from the water pump area, could it be the water pump ? Dummy lights come on low coolant, but i checked and it is fine. Also check engine comes on, probably from hot oil. Also having problems with blend door from coil, might be tied in somewhere, im stumped.
