It only seems to happen when I floor it. I just towed 2 jet ski's 3000 miles (new duty station) and now I notice that the acceleration isn't as smooth. The fan seems to kick up very high when i push the gas. It overheats only when going up a hill or when accelerating very quickly. Normal driving it's fine, even with the AC. Any ideas?

Clogged radiator/head gasket leak and or water pump not free flowing. Flush your radiator and fill with 50/50 coolant. Also check your water flow and thermostat. Test on the road. If still having overheat issues a compression test is needed to determine head gasket leak. Head gasket leak: When the engine is taxed the head expands causing hot gases to enter the coolant space of weak gasket seal. If no leak, it's the radiator or water pump. Hope this helps!
