help one lowering car

Hi guys i just got a new body kit put on my rsx but it needs to be lowered now so i need help from you guys on whats the best brand lowering springs out their for my car and also is it posible to install them by my self with house hold tools and not with some heavy machinerie that only machenics have please get back to my guys thanx

yea...its pretty simple. jus need a jack, a heavy-duty ratchet, somethin to get ur wheels off w/, an then something to shoot the spring into. now, it is easier to do it w/ a machine (an a lot safer), but u could get away w/ shooting the spring into a garbage can that someoneis holding. jus make sure to watch for where all the lil pieces go (its not that many pieces).

since u have a kit, i say go for coil's, so u can make sure u can adjust them to the height that is appropriate an not going to make u scrape up ur new kit.

I'd try to be a little safer and get some spring clamps. There is more than enough force in a compressed spring to take a limb off.

hey i looked up some brands and i was wondering if skunk2 coilovers are good and also is dropzone coilovers good also i dont know if you guys can answer this for me these two products are under 300 bucks but found other ones that are over 2 grand that is a huge jump and i dont know y ??????

its all in the quality. u could buy some tien coils for 2k, or tanabe an BOTH are much higher quality then those others. however, unless ur goin for all out autocrossing, u don't necessarily NEED the 2k coils.

My advice to you is if your gonna do it, do it right. Get what you really want. Don't buy cheap stuff because you don't want to save up the money. If you do it right the first time, you won't have to do it again.

I think springs are the way to go. Esp. Eibach pros or progress sport springs. They are both designed so you don't need a camber kit and they work with your stock shocks.

i'd definitely take it into a shop or get the clamping tool. it's really dangerous to try to shoot it into a garbage can that some poor soul is holding, thats asking to lose a limb or even kill yourself or someone else.

i do agree its SAFER, but i feel it is possible to do it w/ out having TOO Much danger as long as u kno wut ur doing.
