Well, Its been several years since this thing has seen the light of day. I've recently gotten back in touch with the proprietor of Top End Miniatures, and he has convinced me to re-work my 2005 Corvette pro mod body into the more modern style the racers are using now, using frankie kings new body as a reference.

My original design was to be a twin turbo type car, hence the ports in the front. Those will need to be closed up, the scoop changed, the rear wing will be removed to aid in mold making. I need to make the sides more "slab sided", increase the wheel base, and some other minor adjustments. Hopefully I can have some progress pics up by the end of the weekend. I've begun closing up the ports, altering the back glass, and getting the body to sit square on a flat surface.

on a side note, chris from TEM informed me last night that my original vette body holds both speed and ET records in slot car drag racing.

No progress as of yet, I've been working 7 days a week! I need to get a new body sent over, as I've thinned out the resin a little too far in some areas, and they are no longer workable. I'm going to have to completely remove the scoop on the hood and graft in a new piece from a corvette body. I feel this is the easiest way to get my desired result. I will also be grafting in the lower marker lights from the corvette body. Hopefully between packing and work I can get some work in on this thing
