93 dakota basic performance enhancements

Hey guys, I've been getting into auto mechanics for a few months now and I'm looking for some help on what I should be replacing on my truck to enhance the performance and gas mileage from it. I'm not amazingly talented at changing parts yet, so I'm just looking for easier things to replace, or things I should be checking in the future etc. Recently all I've done is replace my brake pads, oil, spark plugs and wires. Any insight would be great, or any tips on working on this vehicle. It's a 93 Dodge Dakota sport Magnum v6 3.9l.
