2002 Montana power seats

My parents own this van and recently the passenger seat has taken to every once in a while engaging the forward slide function,meaning that it will move forward all by itself.It has done this a couple of times that I know of but I have yet to get the chance to look at the seat to try and diagnose it;I'm suspecting that the button may be arcing inside?Is this an isolated issue or has anyone else experienced similar gremlins?

I would take a good look at the wiring under the seat to make sure you don't see any damage to the insulation. The switch itself seems like it is made of pretty good quality. I just had my front seat out this week to rebuild the bottom cushion.
