Hey everyone I have a question, I found a 95 300zx Twin turbo in a junk yard with the engine in it and turbos still on it and the guy offered to sell it to me for $300 the entire engine including the turbos, one problem is that the guy had to drag the car from a river it had been under water for a few days plus it had been in a rollover, the front end looked in good shape and the engine looked ok but I don't know what kind of damage was done to the engine the engine compartment was actually filled completely with mud so I couldn't see the whole thing, should I buy the engine or not could I make a profit if I sold the turbos and parted out the engine?

Unless you plan on rebuilding the turbos or the engine, you won't be making any money on that deal.

So the turbos aren't going to be worth much unless I have them rebuilt?

Well, Thats about it! Electronics are probably shot, and the entire engine needs to be rebuilt if you want anything from it to function properly. Good luck on you decision!
