IM wanting to hook up a new tach in car, but the 95's have to have a tach adaptor from what I was told. Where is the best place to get one and what do they look like.

You cant just tap into the rpm wire coming from the ECU? I would try that first but if it doesn't work MSD probably has something

Good idea. How will I go about running down the tach wire? Or the easiest way. Maybe my haynes book?

Haynes doesn't have it.
Pull the plastic cover off the ECU and look at the harness and wires. The harness has numbers on it along the top/bottom. Should be 1, 21, 41 and the other side say 20, 40, 60.

Count from wire 1 and look for wire 8. Should be a solid white wire. That's the signal to the tach. You can splice into that one. Solder the wire on and tape up. Reinstall ECU wire cover.
