Hi guys,

Would like to seek some help here, I have trouble trying to locate an accurate color of Glacial Blue through self mixing and was wondering if anyone has any idea what is exactly that color?

I can't get Zero Paints as my country ban export paints and the next closest is probably mixing Tamiya spray cans, which I can get rather easily.

The glacial blue is this color in the thread:

Would really appreciate the help!

Anyone has any idea the mixing ratio? I tried Light Aluminium with Clear Blue but it didn't turn out as what I expected...

The clear blue probably isn't strong enough/dark enough with the silver. You need to decant both Tamiya TS 17 gloss aluminum and TS 50 Mica Blue or TS 54 Light Metallic Blue and mix them together until satisfactory.

TS 58 Pearl Light Blue is very close, but might be slightly too "purple".

This model is painted w/a mixture of TS 17 and TS 54 with a slight amount of transparent blue in the first clearcoat:

This model is TS 58. My photo shows it a shade darker than it appears in person (it's a very silvery-blue, with a hint of "cobalt" or purple):

Thanks for the answers Zoom!

The second photo is what I'm looking for actually, with a lighter shade, I will probably mix in a bit of gloss aluminium/ light metallic blue to see if I can get an even more lighter shade and to avoid the purplish tone in it.
