Need Help

Every morning when i go to start my car it takes me about 4 times to start my car sometimes even more.What could it be?Could it be that i need a new fuel filter? :confused:

Could be. Also could be a number of other things like running too rich causing plug to foul, moisture in electrics, sometimes even a battery that is not fully charged can do it.

that could probably be a lot of things.
on my old car (tempo) it would stall out everyime i would start it. it had a vacume leak. its always good to have a friend rev your engine and you listen to it with the hood up. getting a friend who knows there cars can help out a lot too. theres some good trouble shooting guides out there. and a dude on this thing sent me the complete shop manual for a crx which just blew my mind. The first thing I'd check is the spark. Pull a spark plug wire off of the plug, put a screwdriver into the end that goes on the plug and hold it just a little bit away from some nice piece of well-grounded metal (I use an unpainted spot on the valve cover) while someone else twists the key.
You should see a fat, blue spark jump from the screwdriver blade to the valve cover. It's it's not fat and blue, check stuff in your ignition system. Cap and rotor are good things to replace, if you haven't done that. Good spark plug wires are recommended. If that doesn't help, it's probably the coil.
If you replace the coil, the next culprit is the ignitor, or the distributor itself. Usually when there's a bad ignitor, the car won't run at all, so it's probably not that.
If your ignition system is in good shape, your car should fire right up.
