Cleaning Out The Engine Bay

Well I got pretty limited tools at home, So I was wondering how I could go about doing this? I do have a pressure washer.. but Im scared to use it on the engine in fear creating problems for myself. Do I need to steam clean it or something?

Wow. The 'Detailing' section of that website was very...detailed.
I can't wait to try this, next time my girlfriend is out of town and I don't have her frowning because I'm spending time on my car instead of her.

So I dont have to disconnect anything at all in fear of my car not starting? Nice... Alright, now i need a bottle of simply green and a plastic bag. ^^

I cleaned my engine but now my battery light won't turn off. did I do somthing wrong? I covered my alternater.

DUUUUDE I know EXACTLY what your going through, if my car is sounding like it's gonna fall apart I can't even think about looking at my car or doing anything to it without her going "You always are f*cking with your car! You love it more than you do me! I feel your pain brother!
