soft oil pan

i have a 94 F350 with a 302 i believe, i want to get maybe 1 more year out of it but the oil pan is so soft it bleeds oil terrible from the rear area of the pan any suggestions on a temp fix i am draining the oil, spraying the outside with brake cleaner and plan on either mixing epoxy or take a piece of flashing butter it with epoxy and putting it on has anyone tried anything like this with any results thanks

There is nothing that will last a year. If it is leaking already you are SOL. Epoxy won't hold with expansion/contraction and the rust. If anything, the rigidity of it might make it worse. If anything is going to work, you could drain the oil for a day. Clean the crap out of the pan and let it dry and get some good BLACK RTV and start coating the pan and letting it dry for several hours. Apply another layer and let it dry. Each layer should be somewhat thin, use a body putty knife to spread it evenly. Coat that with some undercoat and let that sit for a day and have at it. The rust is set in so you probably won't have much luck but it is worth a shot.

I would suggest calling some junk yards. They are over loaded because of the cash for clunkers program and need to sell it before they have to crush into scrap.
