Check your ignition coil, cap and rotor. I would replace them if u haven't done that yet.

hmm..I did change the cap & rotor still to no avail, if I order a new distributor what should I order from? 95 del sol vtec? or any 88 civic & up will do? I was told a 95 del sol dohc vtec cap & rotor should work, well it didn't, what did work was a 90 civic si cap & rotor.

Try changing the coil before you go shopping for another distributor. They are fiendishly expensive.
Besides, the coil probably costs less than $50, and if that's not the problem, you can always take it back and get a refund.

PS-I once had the same problem you've got now, and a new coil got it to make spark again. Take the one out of your distributor and take it with you when you go to purchase a new one.
PPS-The other culprit that can cause lack of spark is the ignitor.

id say the dizzy out of a 94 del sol vtec should work.

It'll work but remember but those are obd1 and obd2 distributors u guys are talkin about. U can use the 90-91 integra distributor but u have to break off the third leg. I'd say replace the coil to see if thats the problem.

Always use distributor parts from a non obd.

make sure all your grounds are tight first. especially check the one that bolts to the thermostat, everyone forgets it. if that doesnt solve your spark problem, check everything in your distributor. look in the haynes or the helms manual for resistance specs for the primary and secondary windings for the coil, and the igniter resistance specs. if anything isnt right, then replace the part.
