I just wondered wot everyone has done to their lumps (engines) , weather they opted for a straight out swap, modded their stock engine, or just dont care about performance and have left it stock

I think you should have the slowest car possible...that would be safest ;)

So far, I'm surprised. I thought that easy mods would have been the most prevalent option. So far, the vast majority are gung-ho swappers!
Although it also surprises me that the stockers are equal to the modders.

But I just looked again, and there were only five responders in this poll, so that's hardly a good representation.
We need more people to take this poll!

That is why I'm not putting my B16A2 in,
it's not modiffied yet :flash:
but it'll be soon!!!!

Why not swap and mod!? I kinda had to with my HF. Swapped it for DX motor then why not mod out the yin yang?

Swap. Why spend hundreds to thousands of dollars on bolt ons when you can pick up a Z6 or a ZC at least for just a few hundred dollars, and you already have a much better motor than a modded stock motor.. Then mod it.

I went with the first swap I did (zc) because I just wanted to be faster than I was and I didn't want to waste my money on usless boltons. Once I wanted to go much faster I decided on the B16 because they're so fast totally stock, and much faster with some mods. :)

all i got is an intake. would it be dumb to do a major engine swap on an automatic car?

And also, is there a cruise control mechanism in the engine bay? Or how does that work?
