Noisy Lifter

My friends and I have determined that I have a noisy lifter, and I have poured an entire quart of Risoline into the crankcase to no avail. It has quieted, but not completely(most noise comes from cold start.) Noise does disappear after 10 minutes at most, and during the day noise is extremely quiet if existant at all. Any suggestions for a VW Newbie? Thanks.

the lifter could be damaged, i would have a shop check into it before it becomes a larger issue, espesially if you are still under warrenty.
