Wot is this blank for ?

I was putting on some carbon Fibre sheeting on my interior at the weekend (ricer)

when i noticed that there was a blank next to the heater controls, it is a square blank under the heater power control and to the right of the heat direction control,

I took it ou tto cover it anyway and noticed there was a wire leading to the blank, does anyone know wot this is for,

And its for your A/C I would imagine ? Thats where it is in 5th gens...

i know how to spell m8, im too lazy to type it properly though lol

ah right, my DX dont have a/c but the wires are there, would anything happen if i linked up the switch or no?

Get it off a 2nd gen JDM CR-X, they share the same buttons or a JDM civic of the same year.
