More kids immitating Jackass. I wish the kids would have been injured in some way by like a broken leg or arm or something. Maybe then they'd learn a lesson. If they were my kids I'd be busting out the leather belt to bust on their asses.

or make them stand behind the car while 'flaming hot rubber' is thrown at them.
still, i have always wondered what it would be like to rent some cars then smash them up like the movie 'days of thunder'

OY!! The mental images of today's youth!! Sheesh!
I hope the authorities throw the book at 'em.
Oh and no, never have. Only rented a car personally once, and I babied that Pontiac Grand Am.

my car used to be an Avis fleet car for about 3 months back in '91. maybe that explains why it's FALLING THE FUCK APART!!! :D

nope,it's falling apart for the same reason that mine is - it's not in the carmakers' interest to make a vehicle that is immortal.Ten years is a good benchmark for modern tin, after that you just have to take it as it comes.:(

add to that the fact that it's close to turning over 345,000km. i did a once over of the entire car the other day, testing the frame and body for rust spots. the car is LOADED with rust. hardly even safe to drive anymore i bet. there's 2 5-inch long holes in the driver's side frame, and in both front door-frames, there's rust holes the size of my fist. :bloated:

Last time my family had to rent a car we had a mini van cause at the time we were moving and my dads crx was in the shop. We beat the hell out of it's tranny we'd nutral slam it every light and i thought it be funny to throw the turd in Park at oh 60ish LOL we complained cause the power windows didn't work right (they didn't either) and they gave us some of money back too. And yes we know were assholes for it too but ever so much fun.

i bet if that car was to get into a crash, there would be about an inch of rust dust on the ground, if not more

i tapped the frame with the hole in it for a minute with a hammer, and a pile about 2 inches high of rusted metal and dirt poured out onto the ground.
i bet if it was in a crash, it would crumble like a stale cookie. i'm kinda scared shitless to drive it, but it's all i got until i can make some more money. :(

My friend had a truck that was so rusty, that it actually left a trail of rust dust on his driveway, and wherever he parked it :p
