if the kit came with an engine, why are you swapping. The vr4 is a twin turbo. If the kit didnt come with an engine then i'll shut up now.
Keep us posted on how it come out. I wanna build that kit later on.

heres a better pic of what its looking like
but blury:(
i am having to make intercooler pipes, and that is taking a long time, also, i have lost a part of the engine:(, prolly the cat took it like he does to every thing else

here is a real VR4 engine, i am missing the chrome thing that is circled
http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/5979123kgt.JPG
I have also found that i will have to make a fire wall, and some thing to help hold then engine inside the car:(
a lot of work, but i think it will be worth it

That would be called the intake manifold;)
Find out the part# and you'll probly be able to get it from AMT

And you'll need the upper front subframe, radiator fan, brake booster, master cylinder, ABS actuator, battery, etc.
Just graft everything from the AMT kit.
(But, I know you'd realize scratchbuilding or using 1/24 scale parts would be better later on. :D)

Looks like a great project.
BTW...in real life...did Mitsubishi or Dodge manufacture the Twin Turbo V6 found in the Stealth and 3000GT VR-4? I'm thinking Mitsubishi made it.

The V6 was Mitsu developed, Ryan. Chrysler was still knee deep in K cars while the Stealth was the bad-boy on the Pentastar block.
Of course, that doesn't mean that the Mopar boys weren't building astounding turbo engines. Just ask anyone with a Turbo 2.2L four in a GLH Omni or Shelby Daytona.
Also, B16EF, that AMT kit hasn't been in production for about three or four years. AMT wouldn't have the parts he needs. The best bet would either be to buy a second parts kit off of eBay for around $5 or scratchbuild something even more stellar looking than the stock piece.
Whatever you do, Supratuner, this'll be a neat work when done. Keep at it.

i am thinking i can use batterys, etc, from other spare kits siting around, just some slight modifing to them and they should look like they fit in
i cna use an ITR fire wall, they are about the same size
but the civic wing just looks too small for it:( so im looking for another wing, i know that the mid wing from the ITR looks good on it, i did that to my last one, but i want to do some thing else.

up date, but too dark for pics:(
i finished the intercooler pipes for it:D
Thanks to Camber, i decided to use an ITR intake manifold, they actaully look the same from a distance, and you have ot put your eyes up close to see
I could have gotten it painted today, but i have a little more sanding to do, should be painted tomorow hope fully:)
