Have you tried nail polish remover? Whenever I change parking decals, there's always some sticky crap left over - the remover gets it out with no problem.

I don't know the product name, but when i got my windows tinted a long time ago, they put this acid substance over the outside of the window. It took out all the hard water spots and all other crap. it brought the window to a spotless condition.
Just ask a window tinting place if they have any acidic substances with them that you can use :)

are you talking about the inside or the outside of the windows?
if inside, the best thing to use is a dry paper towel and a completely clean terry cloth. no chemicals, just use dry and wipe the oils off of it. windex and other chemicals still leaves some residue. it seems like the more AC is used, the more residue buildup there is. lately, its been pretty cool here in chicago, so only use the econ mode. not too much mildew on the inside windows. i wipe my windows every 4-5 weeks.
for outside, just use some carwash and it should come off. it not, then use some dishwash fluid (dont get it on your body panels or hood).

Ive heard Coca-Cola on crumpled newspaper works for this.
Just don't leave the coke on your paint!

In NZ we have a product called GLINT. It comes in a blue bottle and the liquid inside is blue. You just put this all over your windows with a cloth. It drys white and then you rub the white stuff off - its like a powder. When the white stuff comes off it takes off anything on the window. I find it works great!
