b18c vs b16b

im thinking about getting one of the two there is only a few differences like the b16b has 5 more horses b18c has more ft. lbs.

B16b 185hp
B18C 180hp
B16B 118 ft lbs
B18C 134 ft lbs
B16B 1.6 liter
B18C 1.8 liter
B16B "obd2 pct" ecu
B18C "p72" ecu

depending on what you get, b16b or b18c. you can always get the B16A or the B18C1, and add mods to it to get type-r power and more. torque isn't that much more. just a few extra horsepower.

yeah but if i gor b18c i wanna go all spoon so should i just get a spoon b18c that will be cheaper aftre i by all the spoon stuff seperate but im kinda leaning to the b18c is that a good choice?

B16A $5,880
B16B $6,125
B18C $6,370

that's some serious shit. if you got the money then it doesn't matter which engine you get. even if not spoon.

yeah i got the money just dont know how to spend it but now im thinking about the b16a because of price and the h22a because of horses and price

you got one hell of a decision to make.

is an h22a good for like track racing or just a 1/4 mile in a hatch back i heard it would just spin the tires and the b series are good for endurence racing and thats what i want to do, do you think a h22a will be a good choice

i would go with b-series. as far as H22. I do know it's good for 1/4 times, but endurance racing i don't know if they use b-series or h-series motors. But, ITR's, GSR's, and Hatchbacks run in endurance races with b-series motors. As far as the Accords i dont' know what engine they use.

do you know any who knows more about indurence that would be able to help me out

A lot of Accords use F series engines - but the h22a swap is really popular for accord owners.

yeah i had the jdm hond parts one and the adm but the race up one was a preety good one so thatsand ill put you on me friends list and let you now how the project turned out. im not sure if i should go spoon b18c or just jadm gsr thought but ive order all skunk2 suspenstion. and im savin up for bride seats and takata harness. bu i havent desided on procet mu brake system or mugen active gate so if you have any input im here.

*cough cough* spoon crate motors are put together with honda internals polished up and put ina spoon box.

Spoon IMO is a cool name but that's all it is. They contract other companies to make their parts and slap SPOON on it and all of a sudden it's worth twice as much. Don't get me wrong I would still buy their parts for a damn good price but I'd never pay retail.

not for everything. spoon is a great company. they get the best people to make their parts and they sell execellent products. i do agree though. when you buy spoon products your mostly buying the name.
