got so im doing my ls swap, i got all the plugs plugged in and everything, but there is one thing on the ls motor where there was no plug on my dx for it and now im confused with does the si motor have this thing and the dx doesnt or is the ls a obd 1 converted to obd0

k on the ls engine, the thermostat has a sensor on it, does the dx have this ? does the si have this ? do i need to hook it up ? is my ls motor origianlly a obd 0 one or a obd 1 motor ?

That is one of the coolant temp sensors. On your a6 motor, it is a two prong plug, that sits on the back of the block. On the b18 motor, or any other b series, they place it on the t stat. So, you will need to get a plug to fit that, or you will throw a coolant temp code.

is it on the dx motor? ok but where does the wire go because im pretty sure the dx doesnt have a plug for it, so if i put a plug to it, where do i have to run the wire too ?

Yes, your DX motor has one, but it is a two prong sensor, not a plug.
