Ummm......2/8 inches is a 1/4 inch.......I don't see any problem with that at all if that is how low you want it to sit.....I have seen lower
Remember, it is your model, you have to be happy with it, so whatever ride height you think the model would look good at is solely up to you;)

There's no such thing as too low;)
semi- off topic: The other day I was drivin around and saw a soda can in the street, on its side. So I just drove over it and my car scraped on it. HAHA:eek: btw yes my car is slammed.

Eh who cares if it's too low. That's why there are cars called low riders. :lol2: which may be a good or bad thing depending on the viewers opinion, but if you like it then WHO CARES! ;)

Just as a little comparison. I checked the ride height on the front of my Ferrari F40 yesterday, and it's SLIGHTLY over 1/8th of an inch, so I think yours will be ok :).

It is more important to examine how the tire fits in the wheel opening, like the clearance between the top of tire and wheel opening. When that looks right the ground clearance will also look right.

I have many models that have been notched and body dropped that lay body. so theres no such thing as too low.
off topic- recently attended slam fest and lowest car of show last year was a nissan hardbody with a 12 inch body drop. meaning 12 inches of the side of the car is gone and sits that low. shifter is about 4 inches from the roof and he rides with his head out the sunroof. neadless to say its a trailor queen. lol

i would try but i dont have a digicam. the only thing that i can do is describe it so here it goes: first i took the extra bumper and puttyed it to the front then i cut off the bottom of the extra rear bumper and puttyed to the back bumper. i then built side skirts out of squardern putty and sanded them smooth. i then sanded some of the plastic off the pole things on the inside of the exterior and now it sits 1/4 of an inch off the ground. im hoping that i can finish it b4 the teen deadline. i might beable to rent a digicam soon so i might beable to keep yall posted :sun:
