vx motor into a crx

I was wondering a usdm vx motor... is it the same as the jdm vtec motor with the 130 hp? Ive found a really good deal on it and want to get it just so I can get an engine with less miles on it b4 mine blows up. Heh any help about the swap will be greatly apprieicated:bloated:

No there different engines. The VX motor is an economy motor it has VTEC-E ("E" as in Economy). Try to look for a D16z6 motor and that should be close to what you want (-5 hp though)
