Weird Science.

Well in this world of insane Frankenstein engines whats to happen in the future now that Honda is stopping production of the mighty B. A B-series has already been put into the 7th Gen. (01-03) Civics (check out www.hasport.com). However, will it in the future be possible to put a K20 VTEC into the car that started a craze, the 4th Gen. Civic????? :eek: What do you guys and gals think?

The K will come, but it will be awhile before it is as available as the Bs. We'll have to wait for the first generation of Japanese people to get tired of theirs before we get our chance.
That's all we get...hand-me-downs.

right now it is just too cost prohibitive for most people. it would be interesting to see some of the frankensteins that could be made. take the K24 from an accord, drop the K20 head on from an RSX Type S... i know it isn't as simple as that, but give the same amount of time the B series has had to be perfected and it could be a monster motor. hell, we have gotten the ls/vtec and the crv/vtec combo's to work with the b series...

i think it would be badass to say "yea, i have a k-series in my 4th gen"
