91 intake cam

Has anyone seen thae june 00 issue o scc where they do a cam test. They said that by changing the intake cam in a 98 and up ser to a 91 intake cam they gained 7 hp on the dyno. has anyone tried this.

Yes, plenty of people have done this on the SE-R Mailing List. Believe the results.

I actually have a cam out of a early Primera motor (supposed to be the same or possibly a tad better than the 91 cam out of a SE-R). I havn't installed it yet, I'm waiting on a Nissan Valve Cover I puchased to come in, that way i can just swap them at the same time, and then send my Infiniti one off to get coated. I've ridden in cars with the earlier cam installed, and it does make a big difference, not JWT cams difference, but it is apparent.
