Firebird Original colors

Hi, everbody!
I have a question.
Is there a website somewhere, or some other form of discovery, in which I could enter my VIN and find out my car's original color scheme?
I want to redo the interior of my 1998 Firebird with newer seats, etc., but I can't seem to distinguish if it is black, dark gray, or slate gray inside.(cloth interior).
Could anyone tell me the big differences between these colors.

LOL, yeah I have this problem too, no one is answering my question in the topic "82-86 T/A questions".
Anyway, if you go to a dealer they can give you that information. Even better if you know the original dealer, but any Pontiac dealer has it on there database.
