Man i love this site !!! Here i am at work and it's the middle of the night here in Sweden (Though i'm English) and im just hooked on this site, just can't seem to get away from it. Been looking at the number of threads soom of you guy's have entered.... P-man, almost 12000 threads......Siiiiiick !!!

Yeah, ever since ive joined (4 days now) I havent been anywhere else. Im mainly into real cars, Im part of 9 car forums, and now I havent been back to them, cause? This site!!!

Well, im new as far as posting threads go but thats only cos it took me ages to pluck up the courage to start a thread. Just wish i had a camera to show some pics. Oh yes.....this site lead me to another site in the begining in Japan....Can you guess ? Starts with a H & finishes with a J .........and since then iv'e not much money over to do anything else with !!!

Don't worry mike it will only get worse!!
You'll have about 60 or so pots of paint, 3 or 4 different types of glues, god only knows how many brushes, a box full of spray cans, then you start thinking about an airbrush then you realise you NEED a compressor, you have more sheets of sand/glass/emery paper than homebase, you start to experiment with all sorts of different polishes...

But don't worry you'll be so HIGH because of all the different chemicals you use on your kits that you just won't give a damn either way!!

HaHaHa !!!! Nervous kind of laugh though beacause i realise the truth behind what your saying, and that's after just 30 or so threads by me if you get what im saying !?!

The time to really worry is when you actually take pictures to the pub to show your mates what you get up to at night and why you can't afford to go out on he pull saturday night 'cos you're totally skint!!

Good job im married then and home modeling so i dont have to think of pub's. Though pubs are one of two things i do miss about jolly old England, the other is going to Old Trafford on a saturday afternoon !!!

No mate, It was love....Awwwwwww, get the violin out !!! Met the missus while on my hols in Greece in 1989, moved here and never looked back.
Got all that i need here apart from a good local model shop, have to make do with what there is but the bulk of my modeling stuff comes from HLJ. By the way.... when i was younger and living in England there was a model shop in Manchester (chain store i think) called Beatties, is it still going coz they dont have a Website.

Yeah I remember beatties used to get a lot of my R/C stuff from there Peterboro' shop, they went bankrupt about 8 years ago but I get most of my modelling bits from my local shop in Lincoln.

No mate, United didn't make it to the F.A. cup final this year... Pman come on The Saints come May 17th, you deserve it more then the 'Gooners (so called best team this year), I was at the Liverpool V Southampton match at anfield last season, my first time in Anfield and what an experience even if it was a draw but the Saints looked the much better side.

Anyway back to models, I know I keep promising but I will have one up soon.

I have to say Charlton had a very good year this year......always good to see the smaller teams doing well.

Right you lot...i started this thread so i'll finish it, dont mind you coming on here as supporters of the crappy teams like charlton and F.C Brugge (however you spell it), also your "middle of the road" teams like Liverpool and Ajax but whoever put that ARS-enal emblem on my thread is winding me up. ok ok so they might just wind up winning the F.A cup..Woooooooooooooooooo big time!!! Man United are still the masters of the league. 8 out of 11 titles speaks for itself.

I admit Charlton ain't the best, but since I am from Charlton I am loyal to them.

Dont know if you are refering to me on that one !!! Anyway it's very understandable mate you supporting your local team. Man united were my local team for 23 years (Yes, i am a mancunian) until i moved here to Sweden. Hmmmmmmmmmm, Ask yourself this.....if, and thats a bloody big IF, Charlton AFC had the worlwide support that United have how would it piss you off or not !?!
