At how many miles are most of you changing your fuel filters and water pumps?

Thanks,

Jack

I just checked the records on my Sport Trac and see I'm not consistent regarding fuel filter replacement. I replaced the filter when I bought the truck used (51K), then at 70K, then at 118K which is where I am today. I replaced the thermostat (leaking) at 103K. So far so good on the water pump. Steve

I change my fuel filter every 20,000ish miles. Haven't had to change the water pump yet. Just changed my fuel filter yesterday as a matter of fact. If you haven't changed yours yet, be prepared to buy a special tool that releases the connector from the filter. It is biatch to say the least to wiggle it in there to get it to release too! What confuses me is that there are these little window like things right at the end of the connectors and I see red thru one of mine and green thru the other. Not sure what the significance of that is.
