I have a 2000 LS integra, and want a turbo kit with a T25 or equivalent turbo - and this is the only one I've found -
HTTP://members.aol.com/TurboHonda/index.html
Opinions wanted on this - TIA
oh, besides the fact that it doesn't come with an intercooler, I'm going to add one to it.
Anybody else that knows of a turbo kit with a T25 please tell me.

It sounds pretty good, but I've never heard of them before. Your motor should spool the T25 nicely, but your boost will be limited because of the size of the turbo. To give you a comparison of what that means, if a car with the exact same kit with a T3/T4 were to race you at the same boost level, you'd smoke it because the turbo would spool quicker.
A FMIC or sidemount from a DSM is HIGHLY recommended. The other parts of the kit sound very nice and of high quality.

seems like a good price for what your getting, the only thing I'd look into is a FMIC you can pick up spearco's on ebay for like 300-400 bucks
I'm partial to ball bearing turbo's though. I feel a non ball bearing turbo is a waste. They spool too slow. I hate turbo lag if you couldnt tell. The T25 should spool fast but just think how much more faster with bearings. hehe

Yeah a ball bearing turbo would be nice, but it's only a T25 so it should spool nice enough with a B18. I'm only looking at running like 10 PSI on stock internals, so the T25 is plenty, and I was planning on adding an intercooler. Thanks

One problem is that the T25 runs out of steam WAY too fast, I would at least go with the T28 or even better the T3.

With only 10 PSI? And also max rev's on my engine is 7K. Shouldn't run out that easy.?

yeah maybe up to 10psi you shoud be ok with the t25 but if would be you i would get a t28. i'll have way more steam that those 25 and will spool extremelly fast.

Do you know of any turbo kits that have a T28?

well i know for my car and the focus but not for honda....sorry but for your car there are like a miilion turbo kits out there i'm sure you can find any combination you want.
also if you can find it get the new garret Gt28 instead its newer and it kicks trash;)
i'll look around and i'll let you know if i see a kit in the 28 size.

Yeah Edelbrock has a kit for Civics with the Garret T28. And I really like Edelbrock, their performance of their products can only be beaten with a much more expensive product. Maybe they will come out with a turbo kit for integra's soon with the T28, that would rock:cool:

I was talking to a guy at a shop in New Jersey and he wouldn't stop boasting about the rev hard turbo set up. its a little pricey but it comes with a hybrid turbo, TO4E/ T3. The STage 2C kit is like 2850 but supposedly it is a real good set up. I was also looking into equal length stainless steel manifolds but he explained to me how if you are daily driving they crack all the time. Right now I'm set on the rev hard, comes with everything including intercooler and is reasonably priced.

I don't want a T3/T4 turbo, need practically no lag.
Thanks anyways.
Know of any kits with a T25 or T28 for integras?

why dont you want any lag? lag is freind with fwd. its also better becuase you can drive around the city in vacuum and not even spool the turbo.

Well theres no such thing as zero lag with any turbo kit, I don't know why, I just don't want any.

equal length manifolds dont crack daily driving....shitty manifolds in general crack. ive had a fullrace manifold driving semi-daily for the past 6-7 months and its perfect. revhards el, sparks el, and fr's el are the best

totally agree with you there. IMO that is one of the big advantages of I4 turbo's especially if they lag a wee bit. under partial throle (casual driving) they consume like an NA engine but anytime you want to push them instant V8:D ;)

The T25 is stock on 95-99 DSM's (Eclipse, Talons, Lasers) Usually good for about 16psi max, maybe 17 depending on how well the turbo is running. The T28 is not much better, only about 50 cfm on the top end, yet you still have a fast spooling turbo. The T28 will give you the edge over a T25 in the 1320 but in autocross you will not see any difference between the t25 and the t28. A bigger turbo spins slower to make the same boost as a smaller turbo - its ALL about airflow. For the B16/8 I think the 16g is probably the best for street all around. A 20g gives you huge power, but you need a built engine to realize its full potential. Even with the 16g a built engine will go far. The T3/T4 turbos are better suited for an AWD, or Drag car that does not see much street duty. Too much lag, and the clutch you need to hold that power will make your leg cramp in stop and go traffic. All said, I am turbocharging an Integra. 98. I want to know which shops I should look to for a kit (Greddy or Apexi, maybe others- any suggestions will be welcome) I want a good price and good service. Injectors, piping, BOV, hardware, and even ECU if required would be good to get in the kit (like a Greddy) I will be dropping in a clutch (again suggestions will be welcome) Gauges will also be going in (EGT, Boost, 02 sensor voltage, ect) and definately some sort of boost control, yet to decide between electronic (Profec, Apexi, AVC, ect) or manual - though a MBC will probably go in first since I have one laying around.
BTW I am new to the board. I am doing this for a friend. He has the cash to blow his Integ and I will be doing the work. I usually do DSM's and I have a 95 Eclipse GST. Doing this Integ will be somewhat of a learning experience, but should be no sweat. I have a dealer manual for the car and my air tools should make short work of tough bolts. Again I am looking for some suggestions on where I should tell this guy to spend his money and hook him up with a good deal. The motor will get machined, balanced, and built internals and better cams. It will get done right the first time. Afterwards, if he can hook up, I believe he will smoke my Eclipse (but not for long-Big16G, maybe even a Frankenstien will go in around August, HA HA!!) so I am looking forward to building a wicked street car.
Thanks for any help.
Steve

Yeah I only want to run 10 PSI, so the T25 or a T28 would be fine. I guess the T28 because I'm more interested in the 1320 rather than autocross.

I always tell poeple to look at the dsm's, even though it is a 2 liter, the t-25 was way too small. You will roast that turbo after a while and end up buying another one, save youself the hassle anbd buy a bigger turbo. The only thing i would put a t-25 on is a d16, less exhaust flow= perfect for smaller turbo.

Yeah but we're not talking about a T-25, I talking about the Garret T-28 which is bigger. I think max boost on that is like around 20 PSI, plus it's Garret and not a POS Mitsu turbo.

IN that case, I think that a t-28 would be alright for thte 1320, it spools quickly, and on your motor, can give quite a kick in the ass
