hey havn't really been posting on here much anymore. i've had a lot on my mind. my fiancee is pregnant. and in one month im going to be entering the police acadamy. which means no more racing, no more money into my car.:( i've decided i need to start saving money for a house and our baby. and stay out of trouble that racing can sometimes can get you into. i really, really love this car, but i need to move on. im looking into some kind of S.U.V for us now. anyways i will be trying to sell my civic(but trust me im not gonna try to hard)it hasn't given me no problems the people that did it are awesome. if someone is really interested pm i will send you pics and more details bout the car. it is clean in and out. and i will be leaving on my rims and system:( (i feel like crying). if anyone is really serious let me know. and i will also consider selling the engine, ecu, tranny, mounts all that good stuff that will bolt right up to a 4thgen since thats what its in right now.

lol thats what i told her. i know myself and as long as i have that car im gonna be racing or driving fast. i cant help it. so she wants me to sell it or the motor cause thats the only thing that will stop me. i will be back though. hopefully when im finished with the academy and get hired i will build a track car. a 4gen of course. im thinking of letting the engine and everything with it for about $3000.

I still say you keep it motor and all .... everyone drives fast regardless of engine, and even with my weak DPFI setup, I race at the ocassional light to light. So dont even worry about it and tell your fiancee that its a smarter financial choice to keep the car that you have worked so hard to build and that you know is running great and wont need new parts anytime soon (unless you go to the track and do a high rpm launch again ... lol)

lol we'll you see im gonnna be in a position where i can't get in trouble with the law in any way what so-ever. and i feel as long as i have that car i will be out racing. so i need to do this. i've put alot of money into it and its does hurt me to let it go, but i feel its for the best for me and my family.

where do you live, and how much do you want for just the motor and harness, etc... if i can get a good motor in my 4g4d i might contemplate not selling it and getting my acura legend i want.

he lives in fresno which is in the middle of nowhere ... lol

and the price for just the motor and everything associated with it was mentioned earlier in this thread, i think it was like $3k or some shit.

He should find a theft recovery CRV that the engine was stolen out of and put the motor he built up into that.

You should be beaten and left to die a slow painful death for mentioning the honda assport(pissport). It is an isizu rodeo with a honda badge and the biggest piles of shit in the world. Ask any honda tech and they will tell how bad it sucks. We have to order parts from isizu to fix the piles when they break, and often do.

the biggest engine in the escalade family is the only engine choice, and thats the 345hp Vortec V8, what the hell are you talking about.

Redline - i know sometimes we must move on with our cars that we choose, but i think it is a wise desicion to give up the honda for awhile and move into a more family oriented vehicle, but why not just take the plates and insurance off the car so you cant drive it, and still buy like an MDX or CRV or something, and build your 4th gen as your track car.

"Announced today was the 2004 Cadillac ESV. It will be based off the 'Burban platform, and will likely feature the 750 bhp NorthStar XV12 as an engine. It will arrive in showrooms in the spring of 2003 along with the XLR roadster and SRX sports-tourer. "

we went to car lots today and my girl is kinda leaning towards an envoy she saw. i like it looks clean. were also looking at the new trailblazers and tahoes right now. which ever dealership can give us the best deal will most likely win our business. and someone brought up me keeping it and using as a track car. i was thinking bout it but i dont think i can afford it right now. i need to just focus on house, car, insurance and all that other shit. plus im not gonna put any pressure on my girl, to get a job so i'l be doing this on my own. she can take care of the baby and the house. i will let the engine/tranny go for $3000. heres the list.

-b20b block
-b16a2 head(the better of the b16 vtec heads)
-dc sport 4-2-1 headers
-dual titanium springs
-pr3 chipped computer
-wire harness
-placeRacing engine mounts
-S1 b16 tranny
-clutch specialties heavy duty pressure plate with steal organic disk, resurfaced flywheel
-and all the other little stuff that go with it

why do u need a 750bhp suv:confused: more power is going into these trucks and suvs and for what??

i'd prefer the new lexus suv....headlights that rotate to ur path of vview as u turn:p that's what i'd like in an sux instead of almos 800hp....our durango has 245bhp and that's more than enough to get us moving:silly2:

where in Cali is Fresno? My brother is in Phoenix lookin for a 4th Gen (seeing as I have his); he wants a hatchie but i'm sure he wouldn't mind a CRVtec Sedan :) also, is it 3000 for the whole car or just the engine and tranny?

Fresno is in central california near Bakersfield ... probably about a days drive for your brother

crxlvr

the esv is the same size as the 'burban 3500.

having a v12 escalade is retarted enough, the price is already 60g for one, add the v12 and your looking around 75 for it, no question.

it aint worth it imo.

and i have no idea how far is phoenix its a neighboring state though(almost) and thats $3000 for the engine/tranny and everything else. i'll probley let the whole thing go for about 4500. some asians are coming right now to look at it. which im probley gonna tell them that im not selling anymore cause they are from fresno. and im a hater like that:flipa: i dont want to see dudes mobbing in my 4 door around fresno, cause im a hater.:finger:

If you can afford a 750 hp escalade I think paying for gas would be no problem
