I dont like this one at all. There is too much going on. But hey, that's what that person like. It was at the Carlisle show. What do you all think.

honestly... GARBAGE!!!! that front end belongs on only one type of car... a mercedes, and besides that they are not proportional to the car at all. as for his FMIC he sure as hell better have a turbo, i see greddy stickers but that doesnt always mean turbo. it's like you said, just oo much going on

JC Whitney sells fake intercooler kits. It might be one of those. And that is possibly the ugliest rex I have ever seen. Benz headlights, BMW grille, with a Honda hood ornament? Honestly. He should spend all that time and money making a Corvette destroying rex.

why? i can honestly say that is the worst car I have every seen.

Thats just it isn't it, imagine the MONEY put into this ugly box, and then imagine how awesome it COULD have been if the money was used wisely...

I agree. The owner should be shot. That rex gives a whole new meaning to the word :apuke:RICE!!!!

i hope they dont start making the sedans as ugly as them wierd ass CRX projects they're making lately :(

it's different. i kind of like the idea, but he took it too far with the exagerrated hood, and sunroof airscoop. those are some crazy fender flares too.

i see what hes tryin to do but its just not workin.... kinda cool, in some areas, but not nice for the $$....

if he lost the hood completely and replaced it with a carbon fibre one....and the honda hood ornament...it probably would look decent....but a sunroof with a roof scoop on it....come on:mad:

Besides the big flares, i think that thing is badass. How many cars like that roll around ? One. How many normal crx's roll around.....too many. He has more time into the front end than what most people put into their whole car. I give the owner much respect for the work.

I don't care for it at all, but look at the body lines. somebody really spent some time on it. it is really tight.

The car is ugly tho.

yeah..I can respect the amount of work that went into it.... but why spend countless hours on something soo soo gawdy :(

I think thew thing that ruins it is the fender flares. They make the front end look way too big for the car. Also the hood is a little too tall and the scoop on the sunroof is just rediculous. I think the front end would look ok without the huge fender flares.

i agree.. if you took away the hood and the air scoop and the honda emblem and replaced it with a regualr hood of CF then it would look tight as hell. i've always like the big fenders and crazy headlight and shit. also what if the intercooler is real and he can beat vette?? you don't know the guy so don't assume things(i'd like to quote under siege 2. "assumption is the mother of all fuck-ups"), even tho i doubt the air suspension would provide a good start :D

i agree that it is a little much, but i give whoever owns that car mad props, its still a crx and yeah i might be a little ugly, but whatever floats his boat, i really like the drop though;)

i like the fender flares but they look a lil 2 big but it looks pretty cool and IMO its decent, its something different anyways

ok my opinion is that, why would you mix cars, its lame, mix hondas, mix acuras, but dont mix other cars, and that car is two different cars in the front end. it has mercadies lights and a BMW grill, those arent mercades. and as for what i think of the car.
GOD DAMN THAT THING IS UGLY. and the paint doesnt even shine, he spent all that money on the car only to have a shiy paint job. :p

i think the team prototype mercury cougar looks damn good. but i don't like much of their other stuff.

here's how I feel about the situation..I'm an architect... I have loads and loads of ideas everytime I work on a project....but I cant use all the ideas in one project....I have to pick a few and use them or else it becomes too much... people need to realize this when they go out and build outrageous cars..... that car would be just as different and crazy with like half those mods..

yeah, well not everyone can have arch degrees like you and i do. so we cant all actually know what true flow is all about. anyone else notice that the door molding lines are still there? why spend all that money on everything else and not shave the lines there? its doesnt flow at all

this is a case of too much money and time but not enough brains to use them together.

i don't see what ya'll are trippin about. take away the hood and the emblem and it would look tight. and i was thnkin so what if the air scoop is on the sunroof. how many people you personally know of have a FUNCTIONAL air acoop. it's just more creativity. that rex is toight. i just wish some of ya'll knew exactly how much work went into it. then you'd prolly respect it more. and i'm not talkin about like fixin a dent. i'm talkin like that whole car is putty.

Of the many cars I have seen, none has ever OFFENDED me as much as this one.
The clean lines of my car are part of the attraction. Once those lines are gone, so is my visual enjoyment.
I think this car was put together by someone who HATES Hondas, someone who wanted to throw a finger at all of us.
The incredible work that went into it is part of the disturbance. This person wanted very badly make a Honda into an abortion.
His success exceeds his wildest dreams and my worst nightmares.

personally i like the car. i like "custom" mods not bolt on pep boys mods. its gonna look insane when its finished im my opinion

After reading a few of the positive comments, I went back and looked at it again, trying to see it with new eyes and get a new appreciation for it.
And all I got was a headache.
I tried, though. I really did.
