After sitting for long times my car gives me shit when i start it. The ignition comes on and the engine turns over, it just doesnt start up until i have tried like 10 or 15 times. After it finally starts it will run sluggishly for a few miles and after that its fine until i let it sit over night again. What's my car got wrong with it.

sounds like your starter is going bad man

The starter might not be going bad; my 1993 Lancer suffered from condensation in the distributor if I parked it at the 'wrong' angle, and that sometimes took a few tries to clear up

not quite the same I know, but cars using similar technology & of a simliar age so could be worth checking ?

Actually sounds like the injectors are leaking. Loads up the motor with fuel over night , until the pressure drops below a certain point in the rail , prolly fouls the plugs when you go to start it. Clears up in a few miles when the plugs finally get hot enuff to clean themselves. Try some injector cleaner , run it on the highway for about 20-30 miles if you can. Should clear that right up.:bigthumb:

My car's doing the same thing, and i don't know what it is. I was told it was the starter relay, so i had that replaced. That wasn't the problem b/c it's still acting crappy. Did you figure out what was wrong?
