2002 power window problem

my father has a 2002 Malibu with power window problems
the front passenger wont come back up this has happened before and over time he was able to power it back up. the window don't work on both switches, drivers main switch and passenger switch. if i press for it to go down i can hear the motor clicking but it don't click when i press for it to go up.
can someone please help.

SOunds like the track came loose or the window came loose from the track. You need to take the door panel off to see. Sometimes the motor will separate from the track as well.
