Does anyone know how to fix the broken connection tabs where the power cord attaches on rear window defroster on my 1999 Ford Expedition ? Have the repairs been successful ?

Thanks Franco! I was going to try and solder mine back on, but their silver epoxy looks like a better way to go.

I got the kit at Advance Auto Parts for rear defroster repair. It not only is for repairing a scratched off line in the defroster grid, but it also includes epoxy for reattaching one of the tabs. My '05 expy had both knocked off and it wasn't enough epoxy in the kit for both, so I bought a tube of two part epoxy and used it on one of them. Don't do that. After two months of use the two part epoxy must not have been able to handle the heat/cold cycles and that tab came off. There was more than enough liquid copper in the kit to paint over both tabs to give them full contact again with the grid. I think that kit was around $9 US. Soldering isn't really an option. The heat will just cause the copper on the window to shrink away from the tab and that is what you are trying to solder to. The tabs were originally glued to the glass and the copper coating for the grid was then applied over the top, the tabs were not soldered to the grid.
